Chinese doctor who warned of coronavirus for the first time succumbs to infection

BEIJING: A Chinese doctor who first warned of the coronavirus virus died today at the hospital where he was being treated.

Li Wenlaing is a physician who died. He worked as an eye doctor in Wuhan. He was first diagnosed with symptoms of SARS in 2002-03 in some of his hospitalized patients.

On the 30th, the 34-year-old doctor also sent a message to his colleagues. saying diagnosed with a SARS disease and warned people to walk around wearing masks. The police have issued summons against eight people, including a doctor, that he is spreading false fears.

He was later treated by patients and became infected. Doctor Li was pronounced dead at Wuhan Central Hospital in Hubei province, according to the news on China’s social networking site.

Hospital officials said that the dead doctor had died of coronavirus and died at 2.58 pm on the night of 7 February.

So far 28,000 people have been infected with this disease in China, and 560 have died. Failure to find a drug for this infection has increased the number of infected people from day to day.
