About Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in southern Africa known for its pristine landscape and diverse wildlife. The country has eight main national parks and the magnificent Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River.

Politically Zimbabwe was ruled by authoritarian ruler Robert Mugabe for over 30 years during which the country suffered economically as well as faced widespread human rights. Due to weak economic policies, the country suffered a lot. However after Mugabe was dethroned, the country started to look at new opportunities for economic growth. Currently Zimbabwe is considered as the second-worst economy next to Venezuela.

The country’s economy is based on Agriculture, Mining and Tourism. White Gold, Diamond, Coal, and Bauxite deposits are available in the country, Zimbabwe’s major crops are wheat, maize, and coffee.
