Malta, officially known as the Republic of Malta is an island country in the mediterranean sea just off the coast of Italy. The country. It is the smallest nation in the European Union and was part of the British Colony and the Queen of England is the head of state and queen.

The Economy of Malta is primarily on exports of agricultural products and the shipping industry due to strategic positioning of the island for ships coming out of Suez canal to reach other parts of Europe.

Malta depends more on Tourism and Financial Services for its revenues.
