Bahrain, officially the Kingdom of Bahrain, is a sovereign state in the Persian Gulf on the borders of Saudi Arabia. The island nation comprises a small archipelago made up of 33 natural islands and an additional 51 artificial islands. The island connects to Saudi Arabia by means of a 25 km long set of bridges and artificial islands called The King Fahd Causeway.
