Cameroon is one of the very few countries which has both French as well as British colonialism and hence the official languages of the country have been both French and English. Trade Agreements with IndiaIndia and Cameroon signed a Trade Agreement in February 1968, thus laying the foundations for bilateral trade arrangements In the FY 2018-19, the two-way trade increased by about 28% reaching US$ 521 million compared to the US$ 407 million two-way trade in 2017-18. India’s exports registered a decrease by 8% reaching US $ 178 million as against US$ 194 million during 2017-18. India’s imports registered an increase by 61% reaching US$ 343 million as against US$ 213 million during 2017-18. Our imports are mainly petroleum products which constitutes US$319 million out of the total USD 343 million imports in the FY 2018-19.
