PM Modi hopes to Gather 50 to 70 lakh people in India: Donald Trump

Washington: This is the first time I have been visiting India and am eagerly looking forward to this trip after the rise of the US President Gadhi. US President Donald Trump has revealed that the Prime Minister of India has promised to gather 50 to 70 lakh people in a joint public meeting with Modi to be held in Ahmedabad.

Donald Trump is making a two-day India tour on February 24-25 at the end of this month at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Trump, who is scheduled to arrive in New Delhi on a tour schedule, will address a joint public meeting on February 25 at Ahmedabad’s stadium in Gujarat.

Speaking at a press conference at the White House, Donald Trump said, “Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is a gentleman and a great man. In the last week of this month, I will be touring India. I am very much looking forward to this tour. ”

Replying to a question from a journalist, Donald Trump said: “During this tour, there will be trade talks between the two countries. If these talks come to fruition, some agreements could be signed. ”

US Ambassador of US Taranjit Singh Sandhu told Press Trust of India news agency, “Donald Trump’s visit to India is a reflection of the strong personal relationship between Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “This visit by the US President will further enhance the relationship between the two countries.”

The relationship between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Modi has been improving for the past three years. Narendra Modi was praised by Donald Trump in a public speech at the “Howdy Modi” event in Houston, USA in 2019. Also, Modi has visited America 4 times in the last four years.

The dual leaders will hold a joint speech on February 25 at the newly built Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad, India. The stadium is being built at an estimated cost of $ 100 million and has a seating capacity of 100,000. Motera Stadium will become the world’s largest cricket stadium, overtaking Australia’s Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Donald Trump, who joked about this at a news conference, said: “In America in general, 40 to 50 thousand people come to my speech. It doesn’t bother me that much. However, the largest stadium in the world has been built in India and I will speak there soon. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised to gather 50 to 70 lakh people to the event,” he said.
