Dec 8: Shri Anindya Banerjee appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea)
The 2006 IFS Officer, is currently serving as the Assistant High Commissioner in the Assistant High Commission of India, Chittagong. He is expected to replace HE Atul M. Gotsurve
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
