Aug 8: Shri Rudrendra Tandon appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan
The 1994 IFS Officer is currently servicing as Ambassador of India to ASEAN. He shall Replace H.E. Mr. Vinay Kumar
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
