Jun 7: Shri S. Inbasekar appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Independent State of Papua New Guinea
The 2004 batch IFS officer is currently serving as the Director of Southern Division (overseeing All matters relating to Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam) in the Ministry of External Affairs. He shall replace H E Sushil Kumar Singhal who is currently heading the High Commission in PNG
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly
