ECGC updates Country Risk Rating Model

Nov 30: In view of the current geopolitical circumstances and their impact on global trade, ECGC updated its Country Risk Rating Model with the objective of an improved assessment of the trade credit risk profile of various countries, on which cover is available under its various insurance covers to exporters.

The latest list of the Country Risk Classification relevant to Short-term (ST) exports i.e. export transactions with a credit period of less than 360 days and Medium and Long-term (MLT) exports i.e. export transactions with a credit period of more than 360 days, is available on the Company’s website – https://main.ecgc.in/english/circulars/.

The revised ratings are effective from December 01, 2022.
