Jun 08: Central Transmission Utility of India Limited (CTUIL) has successfully integrated the filing of Applications for the grant of Connectivity, Long Term Access, and Medium-Term Open Access to Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) in India as well as to Participating Entities located in the Neighboring Countries through the National Single Window System (NSWS) portal on 06.06.2022 at 23:45 Hrs.  National Single Window System (NSWS) enables ‘Single-point’ approvals as well as clearances needed by Investors, Entrepreneurs, and Businesses in India thereby facilitating ‘Ease of Doing Business’ initiatives by the Ministry of Power.

NSWS is a giant leap, towards making India ‘Aatmanirbhar’. It is a digital platform for the guidance of investors to identify and to apply for approvals as per their business requirements. The portal will become a “one-stop-shop” for approvals and clearances.

CTUIL, a 100% subsidiary of PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited under the Ministry of Power, is the Nodal Agency for grant of Connectivity, Long Term Access, and Medium-Term Open Access as per Electricity Act. The work has been completed by the concerted efforts of CTUIL under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, Government of India and Invest India, Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Team.
