Exporters to get immense support from the government going ahead

Sep 21: Services Export Promotion Council in coordination with the Government of Karnataka organized Vanijya Utsav as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in Bengaluru which saw experts talking about various opportunties available for Exporters to explore international markets and the programmes, schemes and other policies available for them

Inaugurating the programs Smt Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India said, that an immense boost is required for agriculture marketing and that every state government should have a separate cell for marketing agriculture products. She also mentioned that the year 2023 shall be declared as the International Year for Millets

Mr. Maneck Davar, Chairman of Services Export Promotion Council said that Services Exports have to be considered on par with merchandise exports and if we have to reach the $1Trillion goal, more new people have to be encouraged to enter the exports arena and also more schemes have to be introduced for the services industry as the Capex is high in case of hospitality, medical, education, etc.,
