Dec 04: At the invitation of the President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Dr William Samoei Ruto will pay a State visit to India from 4-6 December 2023. A high-level official delegation will accompany him.
It will be President William Ruto’s first visit to India in his present capacity. President Ruto will meet with the President during his stay in New Delhi. He will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhawan on 5 December 2023. President Ruto will hold detailed discussions with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The President will host a State Banquet in honour of President Ruto.
President Ruto will also participate in a business and investment event in New Delhi.
A Presidential visit from Kenya is taking place after over 6 years and is expected to strengthen and invigorate the bilateral relations between the two countries.
