Russia to host the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Jun21

Mar 22: On June 2-5, 2021 Russia will host the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the major Russian platform for interaction in the world of business and economics, under the motto “Together Again – a New World Economy”.

SPIEF-2021 will be held in a “hybrid” format (online/offline) with up to 20 thousand foreign and Russian participants (it will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 report prepared within 72 hours prior to entering).

The business programme will preliminarily consist of the following thematic pillars – world after the pandemic, Russian track (the tasks of internal development till 2030), social issues of the global development, technological sector (decisions and opportunities for business in the view of digitization and innovation related tendencies), healthcare safety (availability, reliability, fair distribution of medicaments).

A plenty of special events will traditionally take place on the sidelines of SPIEF. In particular, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is planning to organize sessions on the tracks of BRICS, SCO, ASEAN, B20 as well as cooperation in Africa and the Arctic. June 5, 2021 will be declared as the Youth Day of the Forum.
